Bocca della Verità

The Mouth of Truth (Bocca della Veritá), is a masterpiece that represents a face made of marble that can be visited outside the Church of Santa Maria in Cosmedin. The medieval legend tells that the mouth of truth will be closed if someone approaches it and tells a lie. It was a kind of “lie detector”, especially for people who were accused of some sort of crime. Visit the mouth of truth with your children and let them put their hands inside the mouth while they tell the truth and you will see what happens.


Villa Borghese

One of the most important green areas in Rome, with the presence of palaces and buildings of great historical value and beautiful gardens inside. An ideal area for a walk with your family, having a picnic, renting bikes, riding ponies, and many more activities.

The Gianicolo
